Instrument Technician (Muscat, Oman)
We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Muscat, Oman. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial processes.
Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot various types of instruments including pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and control valves.
- Conduct routine maintenance on instruments and control systems to ensure their proper functioning.
- Perform repairs on faulty instruments and replace defective parts as needed.
- Test instruments and control systems to ensure they meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Document all maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of equipment performance.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to diagnose complex issues and develop solutions.
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and technological advancements related to instrumentation.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Technical diploma or degree in instrumentation or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of different types of instruments used in industrial processes.
- Familiarity with various control systems such as PLCs and DCSs.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month. Benefits such as medical insurance, housing allowance, transportation allowance may also be provided depending on the candidate's qualifications.
