Executive Chef at Luxury Resort in Ar-Ruwais
The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations at our luxury resort in Ar-Ruwais. This includes managing a team of chefs and kitchen staff, creating and developing menus, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a team of chefs and kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Create and develop menus that are in line with the resort's concept and brand
- Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards, using fresh ingredients and proper cooking techniques
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and cost control for the kitchen
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of all food-related services at the resort
- Monitor guest feedback and make necessary adjustments to menus or operations to ensure satisfaction
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new ideas into menu development
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel or resort setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience/training preferred
- Extensive knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train staff and collaborate with other departments
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
Salary: 1400$ per month (tax-free)
