Head Chef - Indian Cuisine (Mecca, Saudi Arabia)



A well-established restaurant in Mecca, Saudi Arabia is seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef specializing in Indian cuisine. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations and ensuring high-quality and authentic Indian dishes are served to our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities according to established recipes and standards
- Create new menu items and update existing menus to meet customer demands
- Train, supervise, and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain food cost control
- Ensure all food safety standards are met and maintained at all times
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation strategies
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of traditional Indian flavors, spices, cooking techniques, and presentation
- Proven track record of menu development and creating unique dishes that appeal to customers
- Experience managing kitchen staff including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
