Job Title: Experienced Mason - Salalah, Oman


We are a construction company based in Salalah, Oman and we are seeking an experienced Mason to join our team. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing walls, floors, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and natural or man-made stones. Your duties will also include mixing and applying mortar, cutting and shaping materials to fit specific requirements, and following safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Mason
- Strong knowledge of different types of materials used in masonry work
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with various hand tools and equipment used in masonry work
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Responsibilities:
- Constructing walls, floors, chimneys, arches, fireplaces, and other structures using bricks or stone veneers
- Cutting or breaking bricks or stones according to specific measurements using hand tools or power saws
- Mixing mortar by hand or using a mixing machine according to required consistency
- Applying mortar between bricks or stones using trowels or other tools
- Ensuring that structures are levelled and aligned properly by using plumb lines or spirit levels
- Repairing damaged masonry structures by replacing broken or cracked bricks or stones
- Following safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents on the job site

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position.
