Job Title: Executive Chef
We are currently hiring an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Lusail. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with a strong knowledge of Malayalee cuisine and cooking techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and plan menus that reflect the restaurant's concept and target audience
- Manage all kitchen operations and ensure high quality and timely food production
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety standards
- Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth flow of operations
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a reputable restaurant or hotel
- Strong knowledge of Malayalee cuisine and cooking techniques
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Proven track record of menu planning, cost control, and food quality management
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Valid work permit for Lusail or willing to relocate
