Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. As the head of our kitchen, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and ensuring that our menu is of the highest quality. This position is open to candidates of any nationality.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a creative and diverse menu that meets the needs of our customers
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients and supplies
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Develop new recipes and menu items based on seasonal ingredients or customer requests
- Monitor food costs and work with management to ensure profitability
- Collaborate with other departments such as event planning or marketing to plan special menus or promotions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and dietary restrictions
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary: 1000$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
