Executive Chef
We are in search of an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a prestigious 5-star hotel in Al-Khor, Qatar. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, creating menus and dishes, and managing a team of talented chefs.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create innovative menus that meet the standards and preferences of our guests
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation
- Train and supervise a team of chefs to ensure high-quality dishes are consistently delivered
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure all food safety standards are followed at all times
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events and functions
- Monitor food costs and maintain budgetary guidelines
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff, management, and guests
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and ingredients
- Ability to create new dishes while also maintaining consistency with existing menu items
- Diploma or degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
- Must have experience working in a multicultural environment
- Fluency in English is required
Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this full-time position. Other benefits include accommodation, transportation, medical insurance, and annual leave.
