Executive Chef for Indian Restaurant in Hawalli, Kuwait
We are a well-established Indian restaurant in Hawalli, Kuwait, seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, creating and developing new menu items, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and authentic Indian dishes that meet our customers' expectations
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective performance
- Maintain inventory levels and control food costs while ensuring high quality standards are met
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a reputable Indian restaurant
- In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine, spices, and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate staff
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Salary: $1500 per month
