Carpenter

As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. You will use various hand and power tools to measure, cut, shape, and join materials for building or repairing structures. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all work is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

To excel in this role, you must have excellent carpentry skills and knowledge of different construction methods and materials. You should also have the ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately. Attention to detail, physical strength, stamina, and good hand-eye coordination are crucial for success as a Carpenter.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, pencils, chalk or marking gauges
- Follow blueprints or building plans to construct or install structures
- Cut or shape materials to specified measurements using hand or power tools
- Assemble temporary supports for structures under construction
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, trim using carpentry hand tools
- Inspect wooden structures to determine repairs needed
- Repair or replace damaged framework or other wooden parts of structures
- Install hardware such as hinges and handles on doors and cabinets
- Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents on the job site

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship is preferred
- Extensive knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods
- Ability to read technical documents and blueprints accurately
- Familiarity with woodworking machinery (saws, drills etc.)
- Excellent physical condition with good balance and hand-eye coordination
- Attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Salary: 1600$ per month

Location: Ar Rumaythiyah, Kuwait
