Part-Time Accountant

We are a growing company looking for a skilled part-time accountant to join our team in Salalah. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting principles and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. This is a flexible part-time position with the potential for growth within the company. As our part-time accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements
- Ensure accuracy of financial records
- Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies
- Track expenses and create budgets
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding financial transactions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Salary: $1700 per month (pro-rated based on hours worked)
Location: This position is based in Salalah, Oman. Preference will be given to Omani nationals or residents with a valid work permit.
