Indian Executive Chef
We are searching for a skilled and creative Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team in Jeddah. In this role, you will be responsible for creating delicious and innovative Indian cuisine, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Design menus and create new dishes that showcase traditional Indian flavors
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks and assistants
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for increasing revenue and customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
- Stay updated on current food trends and incorporate them into menu items
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in an Indian restaurant
- In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Culinary school or other related training is preferred.
Salary:
This position offers a salary of 1600$ per month.
Location:
The job is located in Jeddah.
Note: This position is open to all nationalities but preference will be given to Indian candidates. English language proficiency is not required for this role. Previous work experience or culinary education is not necessary for this position. Candidates must have their own visa or be able to obtain one independently.
