Executive Chef
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a luxury resort in Salalah. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exceptional dishes using fresh, local ingredients and will have a strong background in fine dining and international cuisine. As the leader of our culinary team, the Executive Chef will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, staff management, and ensuring overall quality and consistency in all aspects of our food service. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented chef to showcase their skills in a beautiful coastal city with provided accommodation and visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities:
- Create innovative menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure high-quality standards are met
- Manage all kitchen operations including inventory, budgeting, and scheduling
- Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or themed dinners
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menus
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Excellent knowledge of international cuisine and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Degree or certification from a culinary school is preferred
Salary: $1000 USD per month
Location: Salalah, Oman
