Seasonal Executive Chef

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team for a seasonal position in Clairvaux, France. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and ensuring high-quality cuisine is served to our guests. This is an urgent position and does not require accommodation.
Responsibilities:
- Create and develop menus that reflect the seasonal availability of ingredients
- Manage all aspects of food preparation and production in the kitchen
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food quality and presentation
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with sanitation, health, and safety regulations
- Monitor food costs and strive to minimize waste
- Collaborate with other departments to plan events or special menus
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to create innovative dishes while maintaining traditional techniques
- Excellent communication skills in both English and French (preferred)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Salary:
The salary for this seasonal position is 1100$ per week.
