Sous Chef - Fine Dining Restaurant (Clairvaux, France)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at our fine dining restaurant in Clairvaux, France. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, recipe development, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in creating menus and developing new dishes that align with our restaurant's concept and standards
- Ensure that all food is prepared according to recipes and is consistently of high quality
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including ordering ingredients, managing inventory, and supervising kitchen staff
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment to ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to develop their skills and maintain a high level of performance
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Degree or diploma in culinary arts or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and ingredients
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Salary: 1800$ per month
