Job Title: Head Chef - Seasonal
We are in need of a skilled Head Chef to join our team for a seasonal position in Wiltz. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and appealing menus that cater to a diverse clientele
- Supervise and train kitchen staff on menu items, cooking techniques, and safety procedures
- Ensure timely preparation and presentation of all dishes according to customer orders
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock levels
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop cost-effective menu items that meet profit goals
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to train and manage kitchen staff effectively
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Valid work permit or eligibility for obtaining one in Wiltz
