Executive Chef - Wiltz, Luxembourg
We are in search of a skilled Executive Chef to join our team in Wiltz, Luxembourg. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and managing a team of chefs. Your creativity and passion for food will be key in developing innovative menus and ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute menus that reflect the restaurant's concept and appeal to our target market
- Monitor food costs and maintain budgetary control while ensuring high-quality ingredients are used
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff to maintain a smooth operation
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent service and guest satisfaction
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment
- Source and develop relationships with local suppliers to support the use of fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Stay updated on food trends and incorporate them into menu development
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in fine dining establishments preferred
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Creativity in menu development with the ability to balance taste, presentation, and cost
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
Salary: 1000$ per month with accommodation provided.
