Head Chef
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team in Wiltz, Luxembourg. As the head chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, creating and implementing menus, managing inventory and supplies, and ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement creative and delicious menus that meet our customers' expectations and dietary needs
- Oversee daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high-quality standards are met
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving efficiency and profitability
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a head chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant environment
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and menu planning
- Ability to manage a team effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively train and lead kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
- Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Degree or certification in culinary arts is preferred
Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
