Executive Chef - Contract Position in Dickirch, Luxembourg
As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations in our high-end restaurant in Dickirch, Luxembourg. You will utilize your culinary expertise to create and maintain a diverse and innovative menu that meets the expectations of our discerning clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities, including menu development and creation
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage inventory levels and control food costs
- Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high-quality food production
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction
- Develop relationships with local suppliers for sourcing high-quality ingredients
- Stay updated on industry trends and continuously improve menu offerings
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Strong knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and plating presentations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Good understanding of food safety regulations and quality standards
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of French or German is a plus)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Salary:
This is a contract position offering a competitive salary of $1100 per month. Accommodation will be provided.
