Entry Level Land Surveyor
As an Entry Level Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine land boundaries, locations, and elevations. You will work under the supervision of a licensed land surveyor and gain hands-on experience in the field. Your job will involve using various surveying tools such as GPS equipment, total stations, and levels to collect data and create maps. This position is ideal for individuals who are interested in starting a career in land surveying and have a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed land surveyors in conducting surveys for various projects
- Use surveying equipment to measure angles, distances, and elevations
- Collect data and create accurate maps using computer software
- Prepare field notes and reports for each project
- Follow safety protocols while working on site
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field (preferred)
- Strong mathematical skills
- Familiarity with surveying tools and software (preferred)
- Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills
