Is responsible for writing standard operating procedures (SOP) s and standard maintenance procedures (SMPs). Ensures that SOPs are used to start and stop major equipment and processes to prevent unnecessary process delays and to maintain operational consistency and reliability.
Coordinates with the maintenance organization to plan and schedule required PMs and corrective maintenance requests.
Effectively communicates operating instructions and guidelines to technicians. Communicates deviations as needed.
Effectively communicates to technicians, maintenance organization, facility manager, plant engineers, and the business group.
Is accountable for adhering to all Corporate and plant policies including OSHA PSM, water, and waste regulations.
Well versed with the operation of Oil Wells, Gas Producers, Gas Injectors, and Water Injectors.
Hands on experience and trouble free operation of hydraulic operated X-Mas tree valves such as Sub Surface Safety Valves (SSSV), Surface Safety Valves (SSV), High Integrity Pressure Protection system (HIPPS) and storm choke operation.
Testing of oil wells through 3- phase separators.
Well handover to Petroleum team for intervention jobs such as wire-line surveys, well simulation, de-scaling and kick off.
To monitoring continuous process parameters, controlling/optimization the production, trouble shooting and analysis to processing/separation of Water, Salt, Oil and Gas from the crude oil obtained from different field (Wells) with zero accidents
Monitoring, troubleshooting and implementation the corrective actions for Slug Catcher, Three- Phase Separator, Electrostatic Dehydrators and Desalters to process the crude oil
Maintain inventory of various chemicals, consumption pattern, replenish desired quantity in a manner so as to ensure adequate requirement covering contingency at site all the time.
To ensuring the quality of crude oil (BS &W, API gravity, RVP and Salt content below 30 PTB) and produced water quality with cost/ consumption optimization of treating chemicals.
Pigging of gas, oil and water trunk lines as per schedule.
Crude oil and Natural Gas operations
Carry out tests for combustible gas, oxygen and H2S gas before issuing permits during maintenance activities.
Carry out energy isolation using lock out tag out (LOTO) procedure, Double-Block-and-Bleed (DBB) philosophy and Positive isolation philosophy.
Isolation of rotating equipment and process equipment such as compressors, power generators, fuel gas filters, separators, and condensate lines (includes depressurizing/pressurizing, purging, isolating and releasing/receiving) for maintenance as per isolation policy and PTW. Participate in preparing Job Safety/Hazard Analysis (JSA/JHA) for critical jobs.
Involved in internal inspection of vessels, tray columns, packed columns, filters, etc.
Compliance with Corporate HSE Standards, Policies and Practices, & applicable regulations, safety of personnel & integrity of facilities at all times.
Participated in mock drills and large scale exercises.
Handling of Plant emergencies, upsets, Start Up, Shut down & Trouble Shooting.
Pigging of gas, oil and water trunk lines as per schedule.
Carry out daily inspection of plant and equipment in oil/gas stations, tanks and flare areas to ensure normal operations.
Routine activities like Enclosure checking, gas detector testing, UV detectors and IR detector checking in Gas generator turbines and parameters checking in centrifugal compressors.
