Directorate General (Petroleum Concessions) DGPC, Ministry Of Petroleum, Islamabad (Through Deputation From Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL)), Karachi
Key Responsibilities as HR Manager Role (DGPC / SSGCL COMMON ROLE):
Recruitment and Staffing:
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
Conduct interviews and facilitate the hiring process.
Manage onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
Employee Relations:
Handle employee grievances, disputes, and disciplinary matters.
Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.
Mediate conflicts and ensure fair treatment of employees.
Benefits Administration:
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and issues.
Training and Development:

Key Responsibilities as Assistant Director (DGPC):
Specialized Roles:
Focal Person of DGPC for Prime Minister of Pakistan’s information technology driven (web-based portal) public service delivery initiative:
Prime Minister Delivery Unit (public service complaints redressal system).
PM Task Management System (for specialized tasks assigned to Ministries by PM Office).
PRMI Project being spearheaded by (federal) Board of Investment for improving regulatory regime of Pakistan,
Ministry of Planning for Energy Sector Gas Reforms project
Focal Person for of Security Committee constituted by the Secretary (Petroleum Division) comprising relevant security officers of E&P producing companies, including relevant officer from Military Operations Directorate and Joint Secretary, M/o of Interior
Conduct interviews and facilitate the hiring process.
Assisting in Policy matters relating to implementation and amendment of various Petroleum Policies in vogue, conducting national / international bidding rounds of onshore / offshore exploration oil / gas blocks Manage onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
Hiring of Specialized consultancy services like Human Resource, Legal, Technical, Media Management, Strategy etc., to improve overall performance of DGPC / Ministry of Petroleum.
Monitoring of training fund financial obligations of E&P Companies and operation of Training Fund Account running into close of US$ 1 Million.
National Assembly/Senate/other Govt department’s business, including briefs to Federal Ministers.
Handling of audit matters pertaining to training fund.
