My name is Farhan Haider, and I am an experienced Aerospace Engineer. I graduated as
an Aerospace Engineer from Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad in September, 2020. The
subjects and skills for which I majored are Aircraft Design, Propulsion, Aerodynamics (FEA and
CFD), Flight Control Systems and Rotorcraft Dynamics and Design.
During my 4 – year Bachelor’s Degree, I have carried out the preliminary and detailed
design of a Boeing 747 – 400E aircraft. I have also performed extensive CFD analysis of
Morphing Airfoil on ANSYS. My Final Year Project is titled as,” Design and Development of a
Small – Scale Turbocharged Jet Engine.” This project covers a variety of areas including
propulsion and design and CFD analysis. This project is basically based on a design and
development of a jet engine working on a centrifugal flow mechanism. The values and
parameters for the turbocharger were reverse engineered to design a suitable and compatible
combustion chamber and injector to be assembled with the turbocharger to attain a jet engine. In
this project, I have performed internal CFD analysis of a swirler from a Swirl – Coaxial Injector
on different modules of Ansys. I have also performed the CFD analysis on the impellers of a
Turbocharger. An injector and Combustion chamber for a jet engine have also been designed
based on the turbocharger parameters.
I was employed at Epazz Inc as an Aerospace Engineer (Team Lead) for last 2 years. It is
a US based company with operations in multiple countries. I was working on multiple Drone
Related Projects in a capacity of Team Lead for almost past 2 years. These projects include a
large UAV Drone called ZenaDrone 1000 and a VTOL Aircraft Aeropass Dragon Jet. As a Team
Lead, I overlooked the technical as well as managerial phases of the projects in a development
capacity. I performed aerodynamic simulation on the VTOL aircraft’s model and the drone body
along with the detailed design and optimization of the aircraft’s model. I also overlooked the
manufacturing process like prototyping and assembly of the drone using Carbon Fiber and
testing of the drone flight regarding spray mechanism and shipping purposes.
Other than different modules of Ansys, I also have a very strong grasp on some other
tools like CATIA V5, MATLAB, CPROP, RPA (Rocket Propulsion Analysis) Software,
Microsoft Office, DATCOM, RDS (Raymer Design Software), AAA Software,
QGroundController and Java foil. I also possess very strong and intriguing communication skills
which further promote my leadership and strategic capabilities. Considering these factors and my
skills, I believe that I can compete for this role at this company. Thank you for your
