Experience:
Good Knowledge of Ashghal General Conditions of Contracts, Kahramaa General Specifications For Main Laying Contracts, Qatar National Construction Standard (QCS 2010 & 2014), ASTM, BS, QSMM, CESMM, Highway Maintenance Code of Practice & Qatar Work Zone Traffic Management Guide - WZTMG (Rev. 1.1 - July 2014).
Preparation of tender documents including Technical & Financial submittals.
Pricing & Cost Estimation for Infrastructures projects.
Credible experience in construction projects across UAE, Qatar, and Egypt.
Familiarity with OSHA, and FIDIC conditions of contract.
Provisioning, engineering, and implementation of Earthwork, Roadwork, Stormwater drainage, TSE, Sewerage (open trenches and micro tunneling), Asphalt laying, Footpaths and pavements, Landscaping and irrigation, Fencing, Parking, Traffic signs and Road marks, and service provisions for water/telephones/electrical/traffic signals.
Skills:
• Following up on approvals and permits before the commencement of operation.
• Coordinating with clients and consultants on engineering and technical inputs.
• Collaborating on project plans and schedules and creating WBS/method statements.
• Proposing traffic diversion plans for each phase and obtaining approvals from the client and Traffic Police department.
• Following up on material submittals, suppliers’ certificates, and test reports for approval.
• Ensuring timely requisition and delivery of materials at the site.
• Managing provision and allocation of manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Monitoring execution, evaluating and reviewing progress, and reporting.
• Ensuring sampling and laboratory tests either at the site or elsewhere.
• Assuring quality as per standards and specifications.
• Controlling projects and coordinating with subcontractors and other stakeholders on execution and technical issues.
• Coordinating with safety engineer to ensure safety, and monitoring health issues.
• Identifying bottlenecks and spearheading rectification.
• Preparing and documenting contract agreements, project correspondence, and important records.
• Familiarity with OSHA, and FIDIC conditions of contract.
• Representing the company to Institutes/Government Authorities/Associations.
• Ensuring the completion of project works according to the scope and within the budget/duration with a high level of quality.
• Preparing the as-built drawings and any other documents for handing over and project closing.
