I recently worked for an international company (SGS Philippines, Inc.), known to be the world's leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company. I was assigned to our on-site laboratory – Natural Resources: Minerals division. We are required to pass the regular turn-around-time for our client’s sample submission. We are trained to be adept in multitasking without jeopardizing the quality of our testing, to work with minimal supervision and have initiative on troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment, as it is for a mining industry.
To be of service and become an asset to your company, I am equipped with 5 years of experience in testing and determining metals (e.g., Gold, Silver, Copper) in bullion and geochemical samples (solid and solutions) by Fire Assay and gravimetric method with AAS finish. We also conduct determination of cyanide concentration in water samples by ISE method and elemental analyses of Sulfur and Carbon using LECO. In addition, I have developed mastery in operating and maintenance of our equipment and troubleshooting technical-related problems. In view of my current job, as a Laboratory Analyst II, I am in-charge of performing analyses and reporting test results according to Integrated Management System policies and procedures which exhibits acquired attributes to perform with high sense of quality. I am also in charge of performing our participation with international proficiency test programs such as LQSI and ASTM. I also have a strong background on ISO certification and accreditation (ISO 9001 and 14001) and ISO/IEC 17025:2017, giving me an ability to contribute and easily adapt with updated quality management systems.
Formerly as a QA/QC Analyst at Asia Brewery Inc., I am responsible for developing and maintaining operating conditions based on quality standards in bottled water operations (water pre-treatment, raw materials, packaging, etc.).
