Currently serving as a Senior Maritime & Shipping Officer at the Ministry of Mining, Blue Economy, and Maritime Affairs in Kenya, I am responsible for ensuring compliance with maritime policies, managing critical situations, and overseeing operational standards. My expertise in maritime affairs has been instrumental in fostering regulatory adherence across various environments, and I aim to expand my knowledge within the sector to contribute further to operational excellence.
Previously, I have held various administrative and clerical roles, including Clerical Officer II with the County Government of Lamu, where I supported workflow and managed office documentation. I also worked as a Port Clerk at Spears Ltd, where I handled clerical tasks, financial documents, and customer relations. Earlier in my career, I gained experience in sales and accounting roles at Fayaz Bakers Ltd and Lela Books and Stationery, where I exceeded sales targets and managed financial reporting. My broad skill set and commitment to continuous learning make me a valuable asset to any organization in the maritime sector.
