Experience:
I am a qualified Physiotherapist with diverse experience across rehabilitation, nursing care, sports therapy, and strength & conditioning. I worked at Esker Ri Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Centre, where I provided rehabilitation for neurological, arthritic, respiratory, and mobility conditions, improving patient independence and quality of life. My role involved fall assessments, transfer training, respiratory care, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
I also gained experience in primary care physiotherapy at Springfield Resource Centre (HSE), treating both adults with disabilities and pediatric patients with conditions such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and autism.
In the sports sector, I have worked as a physiotherapist and strength & conditioning coach for various senior and underage hurling and football teams. My responsibilities included injury prevention, rehabilitation, pre- and post-game treatment, and designing tailored gym and running programs. Additionally, I served as the first aid and team physiotherapist for The Downs and Cullion Senior Teams, ensuring optimal athlete care and injury management.
My hands-on experience in both clinical and athletic settings, along with my background in strength & conditioning and rehabilitation, enables me to provide effective physiotherapy care tailored to a wide range of patients and athletes.
