Greetings my name is William Githuku Ndugire. In my next position I want to be challenged and continuously learn and grow.
I am a male of 39 years who has experience
in the services and hospitality industry,and most recently I have worked at DHL Gateway Kenya at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport handling import shipments.
I believe that in service delivery, one has to have a can do attitude, doing it first and right at first time is key to success in having a satisfied client and timely movement of shipments. I am a quick learner, self motivated individual with personal commitment to behavior consistently, I pride myself in always giving 200% to my team achieving our goals and reach our intended targets.
I am proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Some of the skills I have gained over the years are anticipating problems and raising suggestions to my team members and supervisor, proper time management and leadership.

My duties at DHL were Compiling and evaluating data from company system for accurate shipment released daily summarie report to my supervisor and manager.
Assisting customers by sorting out incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any queries from independent clearing and forwarding agents that came to clear there shipments themselves.
Clearing the import bond, ensuring the proper documentations of delivery Order (D/O), Air Waybill (AWB), Packing Note details of the invoice, the buyer, the consignee, country of origin, transport date, delivery destination, shipping and container marks, weight and volume were in order.
Assisting customs officers and quality control officers in inspecting shipments for clearance. Scanning shipments from the Imports gateway that have arrived in the country and sorting them as per destination and racking the inbound shipment in correct location using material handling equipments or simply(MHE)e.g Manual Pallet Trolley, Battery-Powered Pallet Trolley, Forklift and Reach Truck,Conveyor System as per company standards in the warehouse. Daily morning scanning of shipments in the warehouse.
