1. As part of the JKUAT student welfare, I was able to:
• Offload the pressure from the principal counselor by providing standard counseling services to the students
• Extend my service to the University after completing my required 300 hours of practice.
• Amass an extra 150 counseling hours experience.
2. At Nairobi Lighthouse Church, as Welcome Team Lead, I have been able to:
• Create a database of the existing 27 members that covers all relevant data, enabling proper planning and accountability.
• Oversee team inventory and stocktaking ensuring safety of materials entrusted to the team.
• Ensure that all flows well in rostering and communication.
• Oversee growth of the team has grown from 15 members to a strong 27 members in 17 months.
3. As a Camp Winning Ways facilitator, I was the youngest facilitator to be on board in 2018. 5 years later, I have been able to:
• Amass 5 years of camping experience at 24 years old
• Sat on the panel of interviewers for screening and onboarding of new facilitators
• Led a team training and onboarding session.
4. As a Junior Administrator at Bees Circle School, I was able to:
Streamline fee collection and ensure all fee was paid on time. This resulted in efficient cash-flow management, enabling the construction of a heated children’s pool to begin.
Ensure smooth operational management of the kitchen and classrooms.
Create a filing system that captured all relevant student data required by the school for over 90 students.
5. As a School Administrator at Windsor Palace Academy, I have been able to:
• Reduce Weekly Kitchen expenditure from Ksh 15,000 to Ksh 5,000 by cash management and accountabilities as well as leveraging on market days and SMEs.
• Create a filing system that captures all relevant student data required by the school.
• Create a records system that captures all relevant financial transactions – income and expenditure.
• Create a PNL that summarizes the school’s financial needs and trajectory for two years.
• Ensure a high staff retention rate.
• Ensure positive relations between the school and service providers.
• Build a brand name through social media marketing and blogging and ground activations.
• Engage in creation of reels, voice overs, and other design-related tasks to lower expenditure in SM marketing.
