i. Providing information to all members of the lifting team about the tasks to be completed and plan accordingly.
ii. Supervising and coordinating all lifting operations according to the Lifting Plan.
iii. Ensuring that ground conditions are safe for any lifting operations and taking suitable measures to rectify unsafe conditions before commencing the lift.

iv. Ensure that crane controls function properly by monitoring their responsiveness and correct functioning during operations.
v. Ensure that crane usage, maintenance, and inspections are accurately recorded and notify supervisors of any issues or concerns.
vi. Ensure that the working area is free from any obstructions and a barricade is put in place.
vii. Set up the crane at job sites, making sure that it is stable and safe by putting in place outriggers, cribbing, and proper rigging techniques
viii. Efficiently and safely operate mobile cranes to lift, move, and position heavy objects, equipment, and materials in accordance with project requirements.
ix. Effectively communicate with team members, including signal personnel, riggers, and supervisors, to ensure coordinated and safe lifting operations.
x. After the lifting operations ensure that the crane is cleaned and safely parked.
