I am Devkumar S. Biswas, currently pursuing my PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar. My doctoral research builds upon my strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Computational Neuroscience, with a focus on developing AI-driven solutions for healthcare and mental wellness.
My academic journey began with a Bachelor of Engineering in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Engineering, Management, and Research, Pune, where I graduated with distinction and ranked among the top students in my department. I have consistently demonstrated a passion for research, publishing work such as Industrial Revolution NLP to SQL Generator Using LLM and contributing to projects like Career Prediction using AI & DS and Chat with Human AI Friend.
At IIT Ropar, I am exploring the integration of AI/ML with neuroscience and biomedical applications, particularly focusing on data-driven systems that can assist in addressing neurological and mental health challenges. My personal experiences with adversity have strengthened my resolve to design empathetic and impactful technologies. My long-term vision is to contribute to academia and industry by advancing human-centric AI systems that improve healthcare and empower individuals globally.
