Experience:
Qualified Carpenter & Joiner with over 16 years’ experience working across commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, and domestic construction projects throughout the UK and Ireland. Currently working as a subcontract carpenter on pharmaceutical laboratory fit-outs, refurbishments, and extensions. Experience includes first and second fix carpentry, fire-rated clean panels, partitions with vision panels, fire and sound-rated doors and frames, external fire exit steel doors, drylining systems, suspended ceilings, and high-spec cabinet and worktop installations. Previous work includes MOD sites, social housing fire-door compliance, shop fitting, new builds, refurbishments, and reactive maintenance.
Education:
• NVQ Level 2 Carpentry & Joinery
• NVQ Level 1 Carpentry & Joinery
• City & Guilds / CSkills Diploma in Wood Occupations
• GCSEs including Maths, English, Design & Technology
• Construction Health & Safety Awareness Training
Skills:
• First & second fix carpentry
• Fire-rated doors, frames, and partitions
• Drylining, MF ceilings, timber and metal studwork
• Cleanroom systems and hygiene wall cladding
• Reading drawings, schedules, and specifications
• Use of hand tools, cordless and specialist carpentry tools
• Working independently or as part of a team
• High attention to detail and quality finish
• Problem-solving on site

• CSCS Skilled Worker (Blue Card)
• IPAF (MEWP & Scissor Lift)
• First Aid & Asbestos Awareness
• Full clean driving licence
• Own van and full tool kit
• Willing to travel and relocate
• Planning to move to Portugal/europe in May 2026 and available for work from that date
