Experience:
Qualified Mechanical / Ship Hull Fitter with 10+ years’ experience in ship hull fitting, metal construction, and heavy steel fabrication. Trade-certified, safety-focused, and experienced in shipyard and industrial environments.
Education:
High school diploma and Mechanical Engineering – Technical Studies (N3, South Africa)
Post-secondary vocational mechanical engineering studies including engineering mathematics, engineering science, mechanical drawing, and applied mechanics.
Skills:
Ship hull fitting and structural steel assembly
• Metal construction and heavy steel fabrication
• Reading and interpreting technical and engineering drawings
• Measuring, marking, cutting, and fitting steel components
• Alignment, levelling, and installation of structural sections
• Use of hand tools and power tools for metalwork
• Grinding, drilling, and basic thermal cutting
• Assembly of ship sections, frames, bulkheads, and supports
Additionally:
Non-EU citizen with experience in employer-sponsored migration. All qualifications and supporting documents ready. Available for legal employment upon work permit approval.
