Here we work as a team, we have responsible for all kinds of events held at the hotel, both small and large, such
as MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Conference, and Exhibition) events.
We prepare everything from pre-event preparations to setting up the room according to orders, such as tables
and chairs, guest amenities, stage lighting, and equipment for coffee breaks, lunch, and dinner.
During the event, I manage the service flow for guests, both coffee breaks, lunch, and dinner, based on their
orders.
Afterward, I tidy up and clean the room and all the tableware to store or prepare for the next event, if any.

Here, I received a promotion to Banquet Captain, and my work remains the same as before.
The only difference is that here, I have more responsibility than before. I now work as a team leader, responsible
for the smooth operation of the team, minimizing guest complaints and ensuring the smooth running of all
events at the hotel.
5. Deck steward | MS EUROPA 2 CRUISE SHIP
Hamburgh Germany, January 2023 - August 2023
This is an exclusive 5-star plus World wide cruise ship flying the German flag.
It has around 600 guest Cappacity on board.
As a deck steward, I work in a team and am responsible for the pool bar area, which is located on three different
open decks: decks 9, 10, and 11.
In the morning, we set up the sun chairs, daybeds, and tables, ensuring the cleanliness of their covers, guest
towels, and linens, as well as the cleanliness of the area, such as the carpets, floors, and restroom.
We also arrange a corner for each deck where we serve iced tea hot coffe/tea and fresh whole fruit for the guests
during the day until sunset.
After preparation is complete, during the day, we serve guests and ask for any orders. We ensure there are
always towels available, and the restroom and area are always clean.
At closing time, we tidy up the sun chairs, daybeds, and throw away dirty linens, curtains, and towels.
Here also we do preparation and clean up for The Waffle Corner that open for 2 hours start from 3.pm-5.pm
everyday with the different special waffle toppings and soft ice cream machine.
