• Prepare weekly management reports such as cashflows, and budget variance reports
to inform management of the financial performance of the company and make
decisions on what remedies are supposed to be implemented.
• Participate in monthly divisional meetings to review work done and assist in the
annual development and review of financial policies and procedures to ensure
relevance.
• Participate in the preparation of departmental budgets and compiling the budgets of
the institution from various departments to ensure adequate allocation of resources
for all the departments.
• Review, update and maintain debtor’s aging reports and debtor’s general ledger
• Reconcile general ledger account with various registers and reconcile bank
statements with the system cashbook.
• Process month-end reports and check for accuracy, completed journal entries, and
the required bank transfers.
• Responsible for accounts payable and ensuring good rapport with vendors and
timely payments of their invoices, ensuring timely and accurate vendor account
