Responsibilities and Duties:
• Vendor and Supplier Coordination: Source vendors for fabrics, trims, and finished garments,
negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
• Product Development Support: Assist in creating product packs, specification sheets, and sample
approvals, ensuring alignment with design and quality standards.
• Order Sheets Preparation: Merchandisers prepare various internal order sheets, including costing
sheets and booking sheets, to manage the production and delivery of garments.
• Trimming and Accessories: After confirming a garment export order, merchandisers book and manage all
trimmings and accessories according to the buyer's instructions.
• Purchase Orders: Different types of purchase orders, such as fabric, sewing thread, trimmings, and
accessories, are prepared by merchandisers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
• Lab Dips Approval: Merchandisers are responsible for getting approvals on lab dips, which is essential for
the production process.
• Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise and managing inventory levels.
• Collaborating with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and materials for merchandise.
• Facilitating communication between the merchandising team and other departments to ensure alignment on
inventory management and sales objectives.
