I worked as an international recruiter, where I managed the full
recruitment cycle for global roles across multiple regions. My work
involved sourcing and engaging candidates from diverse cultural
and professional backgrounds, conducting screenings and
interviews across time zones, and coordinating closely with
international hiring managers to understand their talent needs.
From February 5th, 2025, to July 7th, 2025, I worked in Sint
Maarten as an accounting, sales clerk and international recruiter for
places like Market Garden, Cupecoy Market, and Roma. This
experience has shown me the importance of matching the right
people with the right roles to ensure smooth operations and
customer satisfaction.
In accounting, I made sure the money was tracked carefully,
handled invoices and payments, and helped balance everything at
Market Garden and Cupecoy Market. This required a keen eye for
detail and the ability to ensure accuracy, skills that are also crucial
in assessing candidates for various positions.
On the sales side, I focused on making customers happy, helping
them find what they needed, and ringing up sales quickly at Roma.
This helped me improve my people skills and understand what
motivates individuals, which is essential for a recruiter aiming to
match the right talent with the right company. I'm really drawn to GXO's reputation as a leader in logistics and supply chain solutions. Knowing that I'd be contributing to such a well-known brand like Primark, which has a fast-paced retail environment, is exciting. I'm looking for a dynamic workplace where I can grow and be part of an efficient operation. I've heard great things about GXO's commitment to efficiency and technology, which aligns with my experience using scanners. Working with a company that supports a brand like Primark, known for its extensive product range, seems like a challenging and rewarding opportunity. I really enjoy the precision and efficiency involved in order picking with a scanner. There's a satisfaction in making sure every item is correctly identified and prepared. I also like the logistical puzzle of organizing outbound containers to ensure everything leaves on schedule, just like I did at Jumbo. Using a scanner helps maintain accuracy, and I enjoy the responsibility of ensuring that outbound containers are loaded correctly and on time, contributing to a smooth supply chain. At Jumbo Nieuwegein, my role involved ensuring that all outbound UG and empties orders were consistently prepared and ready for container pickup precisely on schedule. This required meticulous attention to detail and a strong focus on timing, which helped prevent any delays in the supply chain. I'm known for my reliability and my ability to work quickly and accurately, even during busy periods. For instance, at Jumbo, I consistently made sure that all orders were packed and ready, allowing containers to depart without a hitch, which directly supported the operational flow.
