I am writing to express my interest in the position mentioned above. I have a background in information sciences, with extensive hands-on experience in managing library and information resources, from the acquisition
stage, processing through cataloguing and classification to circulation and organization and safeguarding.
I have held different roles with the Catholic University of Eastern Africa library, Cooperative University of Kenya-Karen library and currently, The Moffat Bible College library, who have moulded me for this role.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science from Moi University, a Diploma in Library and information studies and certification in computing.
I am highly organized, detail oriented, and proficient in using various library management software and information systems.
I am outgoing, diligent and having good customer care skills. I am passionate about supporting research by ensuring that clients have easy access to relevant and up-to-date information resources.
