I have 8+ years of experience doing plate and structural welding in 1G-4G positions, as well as inspecting lifting tackle and manual chain hoists to SANS 2972:2018, SANS 500, and DMR 18 standards. My role focuses on safety, quality welding, equipment inspection, and making sure all lifting equipment is compliant before it goes to operations.
