Volunteer- Tericaya Animal Conservation
• Learning the process of rehabilitating species while caring for the rainforest in which we resided
• Educating others about our work, the importance of it, and what would happen without it
• Hiking through the forest to the tree canopy, where my group and I would search to recognize what type of species resided in this part of the reserve
• Setting camera traps and collecting data weekly, to be able to declare what species regularly resided in each part of the conservation
• Weed- whacking the jungle with our machetes and collecting food for the animals
• Cleaning and preparing the food for the animals based off of the nutritionist's guidelines
• Clean the animal's homes, and work on the maintenance of the structures and land, whether it would be hemming the canopies, checking the water pH’s or maintaining the trails
