Experience:
I am a former Senior Refinery Operator with 20 years of experience in the Energy Industry, 16 of such spent in the Petroleum Industry and 4 years in the Mechanical and Power Generation. My knowledge, background and experience is extensive and varied which encompasses a multitude of working positions such as Mechanical Technician, Junior Refinery Operator, Senior Refinery Operator and Operations Coordinator for Turnarounds on the Units that were under my supervision. As a Junior, and eventually Senior Refinery Operator, I was bestowed many responsibilities including monitoring equipment in the field and issuing work permits in compliance to the company’s policies and procedures. During my time as an Operations Coordinator, I interacted with all engineering and craft disciplines at all levels to ensure that the company’s goals and targets were achieved.
Education:
I am a graduate of Naparima Boys College and San Fernando Technical Institute. At Naparima Boys College I completed my secondary level education inclusive of advanced level from 1988 to 1995. At San Fernando Technical Institute I completed my Mechanical Engineering Technicians Diploma from 1995 to 1998.
Skills:
Methodical, diligent, safety conscious, goal oriented, good time management, problem solving, leadership, supervisory and punctual. Familiar in usage of SCADA and DCS systems in process plant operations.

Previous inhouse training at former company in firefighting and first aid.
