I have worked as a Literacy Curriculum Specialist and as an Instructional Coach for an Early Learning Grade Program, later I joined West Nairobi School International School where I taught ESL and Kiswahili and gained a lot of experience in international education and an understanding of different cultures. During my teaching career I taught in both Elementary and High school.
I am currently working as the curriculum manager and an instructor at Ubuntu talks.
Outside school I enjoy learning new languages and culture, reading and community service.
I have a strong belief that all children have a right to learn and to access quality education. Therefore, every child leaving the education system and my class in particular should be equipped with the knowledge and lifelong skills to succeed as global citizens and to make the world a better place to live.
I always encourage my students to be ambitious, that is to try new things, reach for their goals and be unafraid to make mistakes along the way and to continuously learn and work to be the best they can be for overcoming life challenges is what makes life meaningful.
