Skills:
Having been selected on the Aspire Traveller programme I have been able to gain significant knowledge on what a day for a manager consists of. I have been working closely with the Management team to drive for results and achieve our key drivers. Duties which I carry out on a day to day basis and have developed during this programme are listed below;
-Using a method to observe someone’s work, evaluate and give feedback
-Keyholding
-Use the EDIC method to train team members
-Planning and prioritizing
-Hitting key drivers and maximising productivity
-Customer feedback/ pillow talk
-Creating purchase orders, deliveries and invoice matching.
-Daily banking, reconciliation, X, Z and End of day reports
-Making sure we complying with health and safety procedures, checks and keeping in line with HACCP
-Training team members in Bar Cafe/ Reception; working with them to get all relevant training completed.
-Monitoring Sales per sleeper and working towards reaching the £3.50 sale per sleeper target.
-Creating the rotas for Bar Cafe and Reception keeping in mind Travelodge policies and procedures.
