As a civil engineer, with many years’ experience in engineering project management, quality engineering work in Europe and the Middle East, and who is fluent in English, German, and working knowledge of Arabic,
I would graciously like to submit my candidature.
Throughout my experience as an Engineer, I planned, designed and coordinated the implementation of up to 20 small to larger projects simultaneously. I had to meticulously organize projects and adapt the plans according to unforeseen challenges.
I worked closely with stakeholders, and architects. I also had to liaise with area coordinators, other project managers, and site builders to ensure that projects were executed promptly. The project I am proudest of accomplishing was the completion of the north hospital in Vienna, where I was a member of the project management board, where my technical skills with using CAD and Plancal application stood me in a good stand, and enabled me to perform my supervision tasks.
Relying on my language skills and cultural understanding of the Middle East, I gained experience in working with people from different cultures and backgrounds and have developed essential communication skills which allow me to work well as a team member and understand clients’ needs.
I hold a diploma in Engineering, a Master’s Degree in Oriental Studies, and I am a licensed paramedic. I am proactive, rigorous and determined to see projects through and can work in high-stress situations where I believe I have expressed adaptable skills.
