I, Dr. Mohd Asjad Siddiqui has completed my PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi Technological University (DTU) Delhi, India which is one of the top most Government University in Engineering and Science Disciplines. During the PhD work I have learnt very relevant techniques of research to be applied in developing the models for the simulation of Thermal Energy Systems particularly the Alternative Fueled Advanced Combustion Engines for Sustainable Transportation. The data generated through simulation and modeling work of my PhD has been published recently in high impact (8.864) peer reviewed Journals of International repute and my research has acquired an acclaimed recognition and appreciation by reviewers who are internationally known in my field of research.
I worked on establishing my own line of research in the filed Thermal Science and Engineering. I have carried out fundamental and applied research in the areas of Thermodynamic Modeling and Simulation of Integrated Energy Systems for the efficient and economic use of fossil fuels in general and renewable energy sources in particular.
In my opinion teaching and research in higher education are the two faces of the same coin and need to be joined seamlessly in order to prepare our future leaders and decision makers. Having this vision, I have taught many core courses of Mechanical Engineering and some of them are related to my field of research and because of delivering the strong knowledge of the subject eloquently to the students and computer utilization to get solutions of research-oriented problems through in house developed software I got a strong plate-form to proceed further in extending my knowledge and research output through working on Faculty position at your institute, If an opportunity is granted to me then I shall try my best to further enhance my ability of teaching and research to develop myself as a potentially excellent researcher and a quality teacher.
