Experience:
Dear Hiring Manager, I am an Indian Physiotherapist, presently working in India. I have a total professional experience of 10 plus years (academic and clinical combined), out of which 7 plus years are in the academic/teaching field (For both BPT/UG and MPT/PG students) and 7 years in the clinical field. I am open to moving to the next level of my career and for the same reason, I am sharing brief information about myself. I have done a Master's in Physiotherapy in Neurology. I cleared HAAD (now DOH) examination for Abu Dhabi on the first attempt in 2015. Also, I cleared the Oman License exam for Physiotherapists on my first attempt in 2017 with 79%. Also, I am exempt from the Qatar Prometric examination as I have done my Master and the same was confirmed by the Qatar Health Authority through email recently in (November 2022). Also, I would need to mention that I was working in Abu Dhabi, UAE as HAAD Licensed Physiotherapist from 2015-2017, which has added to my international experience. A breakdown of my professional experience is as followsClinical: Handled a lot of clinical cases which ranged from acute to chronic and from pediatric to geriatric age groups both online and offline, with excellent results. I have worked as Clinical Physiotherapist in CPMS, as HAAD Licensed Physiotherapist in UAE, and also worked as Homecare Physiotherapist in India with 10 plus overall experience. I request you to kindly go through my attached CV to know my duties in my clinical role in more detail. Teaching: Till now, in my 7-plus years of teaching both BPT/UG and MPT/PG students, by God’s grace, no negative feedback from any students regarding my teaching has come. When I teach any subject, my goal is to make the material understandable to the weakest or poorest caliber student (for the same I used to ask about the points which have been explained to me to the students after the topic is covered in the class). On any occasion, if a student asks, I have to go into detail on a certain subject. My main objective, whether I'm teaching in lectures or practical classes, is that the student understands the academic content. Occasionally, I use the adult learning technique/approach (to teach the students, particularly difficult topics) while targeting the visual, auditory, and kinesthetic sensory modalities, which help the students to understand and learn the topic more easily and in the long term. Research: I have been appointed as Guide and Co-guide for MPT/PG students to assist them in their research work (with community-based rehabilitation and neurology as specialization) since 2012 and successfully helped 11 students to complete their research work to date (details in the attached CV). Regarding articles published in the journals, there is a total of 3 published articles that have been peer-reviewed, out of which 2 are written by me and one by my student (presently she is working as an Assistant Professor in one of the institutes and is a Ph.D. scholar) to whom I Coguided during the MPT course, who published it in 2016(article details can be seen in attached CV). I am also involved in writing blogs on online platforms like LinkedIn at frequent intervals (blogs were written on Covid-related topics and others during the Covid pandemic, details in the attached CV). Also, I have been appointed as an Editorial Reviewer for the Journal of Clinical Diagnostic Research (JCDR) since January 2019 and have reviewed 34 manuscripts to date, which has helped me in my professional development and also enhanced my research skills. Professional development: Regarding professional development, I attend seminars, conferences, workshops, online courses, and camps at regular intervals. Also involved in conducting workshops, writing blog posts (details in attached CV), and reading various online journals, and articles related to recent advancements in Physical Therapy for improving evidence-based practice. I would request you kindly go through my CV to know about my credentials in more detail. I hope it fulfills your requirements for the mentioned post. I am available for an interview at your convenient timing. Thank you for sparing your valuable time for going through my message. Yours sincerely, Dr. Ranjeet Singha, PT (MPT, Neurology) Associate Professor, College of Physiotherapy and Medical Sciences, Guwahati, Assam, India.
