Oversee efficient management of depot operations covering product receipt via vessel as well as liaising with the
vessel captain and other stakeholders to ensure quick vessel turn around
Support the implementation of the terminal’s business strategies, objectives and plans
Provide leadership and direction to the various units in the depot and ensure collaboration among them to enhance
productivity
Implement measures to ensure seamless and safe receipt, storage, handling and dispatch of products in the terminal
Collaborate with the Shipping and Operations Department and obtain required regulatory approvals in a timely
manner to facilitate receipt of petroleum products by vessel
Enforce HSE standards and guidelines in the business division operational activities
Ensure adequate training and performance management support is provided for the development of staff
Collaborate with other departments (Audit and Investigations, Risk Management, etc.) to ensure accurate accounting
for in-tank products
Prepare regular stock management and reconciliation reports (e.g., daily weekly and monthly truck out reports,
product movement reconciliation, material loss analysis, for amongst others)
Ensure truck loading and re-delivery operations are efficient and within agreed SLAs
Prepare terminal activities report to management
Ensure relevant Government reports are prepared and submitted timely
Collaborate with the Sales Operations team as well other teams within the process to ensure quick turnaround of
customer orders
Monitor the various machines and equipment used to automate the terminal to ensure they are regularly serviced and
utilised appropriately
Facilitate regular facility inspection and work with the HSE and maintenance teams to establish and implement
maintenance controls / measures
Coordinate with the Maintenance department on proactive preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment used
within the terminal from the Jetty to the loading arms
Maintain relationships with third party carriers, suppliers and contractors
Liaise with the external communities, government agencies and other relevant stakeholders concerning terminal’s
operations to ensure smooth running of operations at the terminal

Oversee and co-ordinate depot operations e.g. Authorize and supervise meter loading requests/program, waybills,
product receipts from vessels and tank transfer receipt, loading and other general depot activities.
Conduct product stock reconciliation/sales reconciliation with the MD and generate stock report/truck out/manifest
as requested by government agencies e.g. DPR, PEF, PPPRA, PPMC, NOSDRA, Federal Fire Service etc. Also accountable
for keeping stock control systems up to date and making sure inventories are accurate; producing regular reports and
statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis Daily treatment/approval of payments (after bank statement confirmation) and release of load order, so that tickets
can be raised and then programming will follow
Ensure quality checks and procedures are duly carried out and documented while monitoring non-conformances in
the depot.
Ensure smooth administrative running of the depot, attend to outstanding issues and ensure the maintenance of a safe
and secure environment for personnel.
Ensure that truck loading operations and all other depot activities are conducted in adherence to safety and other
applicable regulations.
Fixing of depot sales prices of available petroleum products after thorough price survey and approval from the MD
daily (taking into cognisance the product’s landing cost)

Develop, maintain and continually improve the effectiveness of our quality management system.
Conduct quality checks using ASTM and IP Methods i.e. chemical and physical analyses (including Density, Flash point,
Distillation profile, viscosity etc.) of various petroleum products from vessels and the storage tanks to ensure that
they meet specification
Ensure routine daily test analysis are carried out before commencement of operations (or daily loading) for onward
distribution
Drive reduction in turnaround time without compromising test quality
Ensure that all products received and produced meet company specifications; undertake quality checks and prepare
release and other appropriate documentation and reports
Liaise with third party inspectors and regulatory authorities on product recertification
Communicate, implement and monitor new product quality standards and ensure that up-to-date laboratory test
methods and processes are in use
