Additionally:
Aside from my academic endeavors I enjoy using my free time to exercise body and my mind. I enjoy
reading self-development books and I am currently in the process of reading a book by Stephen Covey
called ‘The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People’. I am also very passionate about travelling and
experiencing new cultures. I grew up in the Netherlands and I enjoy using my bilingual skills abroad to learn
about how other societies communicate. I also use my free time to help the less fortunate; I volunteered to
assist a disadvantaged family in the high-altitude mountains of Cusco, Peru in 2017 and I intend to carry out
charity work again in the future. I also enjoy reading the CCE Civil engineering magazine in my free time.
