Experience:
Senior Associate
01/2019 to Present
PwC
Belfast
I have worked on a few teams/projects since I started my career with PwC showing my capabilities/flexibility when called
upon.
I started my career as a Risk and Quality analyst to ensure PwC were not at risk when working for a client. This was a relatively new team called "AdValue" which had analysts handling the beginning process of client engagements. This involved regular meetings with Engagement Managers and Partners of the firm. Each case often requires KYC research to
see if there are any risks with the clients they were working with.
I then joined into a new pillar (Compliance Testing) working as a TechRisk analyst. This involved regular communication with clients to ensure that the right protocols were in place when handling data in regards to Personal/Sensitive Data, Competitively Sensitive information & Controlled Technology etc. These were conducted in a number of tests that we would
complete with the client.
I then worked on a project determining the eligibility of businesses in the early stages of their application for public sector funding over the COVID-19 pandemic. I am currently working on this project due to unexpected extensions of lockdown. Each case often requires KYC research to see if there are any risks with the clients we are currently working with. My time on this project has produced opportunities for progression and my responsibilities has increased since starting. I solely handle the customer management and complaints aspect as well as the end of day weekly reporting for the Contact Centre. This requires weekly meetings and updates with Project Managers and Directors.
