ACHIEVEMENTS • Completed recent refueling outage of plant in 24 days instead of planned 33 days through effective planning with zero incidents and got admiration from higher management. • Designed reactivity calculations software on MS Excel for accurate simulation of reactor parameters during power changes. • As team leader, provided Root Cause Analysis for cracking in unit-1 turbine blades by improving feed-water chemistry through enhancing performance of demineralized water treatment plant and condensate polishing units. • Successfully handled 5 major transients (emergency) out of which 2 were of national scale and managed to stabilize reactor through every transient. • Prepared detailed proposal, planned and executed the project of complete over-hauling of induced draft cooling towers and increased their thermal efficiency by 20%.
