❖ The company is in the business of Conveyance of treated wastewater for more than 250 Industrial Units in & around Vadodara District of Gujarat State through a 55 km long Channel and its safe disposal into the Bay of Cambay.
❖ Head the QA & QC department and manage the functions of 16 subordinates including 1Senior manager, 1 Technical Manager, 7 Environmental Chemists, 1Procurement Officer, 4 Samplers and 2 Helpers. Directly report to the MD.
❖ Perform the dual role of Quality Manager for ISO 17025: 2005 and Active Management Representative for ISO 14001:2004.
❖ Frame policies related to quality and safety of the laboratory, Quality manuals, Procedure manuals and SOP’s.
❖ Manage and account for an annual budget.
❖ Conduct Laboratory Management for the Vadodara Enviro Channel Limited (VECL) laboratory.
❖ Imparted in-house training to samplers and chemists related to sampling and laboratory management system.
❖ Imparted Industrial Trainings to winter/summer trainees from various colleges.

❖ Initiated and successfully managed the capacity enhancement of the laboratory that now analyzes more than 200
waste water samples each month for different parameters.
❖ Planned and executed all processes and prepared all documents for ISO 17025: 2005 certification that was successfully completed on time.
❖ Instrumental in setting up smart surveillance channel by using smart gadgets. Recommended the purchase drone aeroplane (UAV) for surveillance. The proposal has been accepted by the company.
❖ Installed auto samplers in few industries for online checking of discharge water parameters.
❖ Initiated the use of Ground Radar Penetration system to detect hidden untreated discharge by industries through
hidden underground pipelines.
❖ Pioneered the process of Industrial visits for internal auditing of industries.
❖ Represented VECL at VCCI (Vadodara chamber of commerce and Industries).
❖ Led and directed the Pilot plan study of water recycling plant of GE that was successfully completed by the VECL Team.
❖ Initiated, planned and successfully oversaw the process of obtaining approvals for the laboratory at VECL from the State Pollution Control Borad and from the Ministry of Environment & Forests - New Delhi and finally from The National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL).
Thereafter, analysis of samples can be done independently by charging reasonable fees from member industries. This would result in increased revenues as well as recognition for the company.
